Must Be Kismet 2018 Lookbook

In this edition of our style issue, we wanted to give you tons of fashion inspiration and a sneak peek into what goes into creating the beauty on the pages that follow.

Here are a few highlights that you’ll find:

Last fall, the Must Be KISMET team was so excited to make the trek to Buffalo, New York, to shoot the Indian supermodel, Archana Akil Kumar. We’re sure you’ll fall in love with her, like we all did, when you read about her very own love story (”Head Over Heels” p.133).

Also, in “The Stylemakers” section on page 13, you’ll be able to read about what inspires three creative women to create magic on our pages, as our MBK fashion stylists take you behind the scenes and give their advice to those looking to follow in their stylish footsteps.

Lastly, we’re excited to bring you our special editorial, entitled “The Seven Deadly Sins at an Indian Wedding” on p.65. This shoot targets the emotions and indulgent behaviours brought out of us at those big, fat, Indian weddings. Take a look inside and enjoy the mix of emotions and gorgeous bridal looks.

I hope you find a variety of inspiration within these pages and enjoy your planning as much as we loved putting this issue together!

With love,

– Prajna Gandhi, Editor-In-Chief
