WEDDING INSPIRATION
We had many different events at our wedding and we wanted to make sure each event was unique in its own way. Our major events started off with the mehndi which comprised of lots of singing and dancing. We incorporated bright colours and traditional decor that inspired the event to be happening, energetic and lively.
The mehndi followed with our nikkah event. We wanted our nikkah to be smaller, classy and more intimate with just close family and friends. Implementing an all-white theme where all the guests wore white outfit we were able to symbolize the purity of this religious event.
A few days later we had our hollywood-inspired red carpet wedding ceremony. Just like the Oscars, the bride and groom had to walk down the red carpet to get to centre stage. Our MC at the event also scripted his speech as if he was MC-ing an Oscar’s event. Lastly, the valima reception was all about elegance, fresh flowers and pastel colours.
SHE SAID
The most memorable moment for me was during all my entrances; walking in and seeing all our friends and family gathered from around the world just for our wedding.
HE SAID
The most memorable moment of the event was to take the girl home with me 😀
