INSPIRATION

Our inspiration for the location, theme and looks was our individuality and lack of care for the norm. Whether it pleased people, was in style or not – we did whatever we liked the way we liked.

HE SAID

From our first date on valentines day, when I saw Harlene for the first time, I remember telling myself that this was my soulmate, and I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I always wondered when it is that you actually know you’ve met the right person, and was skeptical in regards to love at first sight, soulmates, meant to be, etc. But after meeting her, everything just made sense, I knew what I needed to do, and that I need her my life. From then till now, with the proposal to the wedding and both of us having moved provinces, we’ve gone through some amazing milestones in life together and I can say that I’ve never been happier.

SHE SAID

The day of our wedding, I walked down the isle in so much confidence because I had absolutely no doubt I was marrying not only the man I love but also my best friend. I knew what he was thinking and him me. It was a seamless and magical ceremony that I wholeheartedly believe will always be the best moment of my life. I cannot wait to spend forever with my everything.

TIPS & ADVICE

Our advice to future couples is to always be true to yourself and look beyond the person’s looks, education and money because that’s not what’s going to keep you happy. When you are with the person you love all that matters is that they’re yours and you should fight for this love forever and never lose sight of it as its the only thing that will bring you the happy moments and get you through the hard ones in life. Look at your partner and know that you two are in this together so help and support each other because if one is not doing well then you both aren’t – you’re a team!
