Priya & Raj – September 4

INSPIRATION

We live in different cities (even different countries!) and so we chose Toronto because we wanted a big vibrant city that would be accessible for all of our guests, and we thought near the CN tower was the perfect backdrop. We wanted a fresh colour palette and so we tried to stick with fuschia, mint green and gold for the ceremony and lavender and coral for the reception. Priya especially, is an artistic person, so the overall decor and aesthetic was important to us. We wanted something soft and elegant, but impactful.

HE SAID

My most memorable moments were the first look and watching Priya and her parents come down the aisle. The excitement was indescribable.

SHE SAID

One of my most memorable moments was looking out of the window with my bridesmaids and watching the bharat singing, dancing and drumming. It definitely stirred up a lot of excitement and I was happy to get to watch, even from afar! Another moment I won’t forget is waiting on my own in a back area before the ceremony started and listening to the precession before my entrance. It was a serene moment amongst all of the hustle and bustle!

TIPS & ADVICE

Our advice for future couples is to remember why you are there- to celebrate your love and companionship. It is also one of the few times in life where we are fortunate enough to be surrounded by everyone we love in one room. Just soak it all up!
