INSPIRATION

We are both the outdoorsy type so we knew our ceremony had to be in an outdoor space that could complement our vision of an elegant, royal but laid back ceremony. We also wanted to display our traditions without tying too much into our two different faiths. As for our reception We pictured this day to envisioned this day to be our fairytale wedding, we wanted to make it feel very whimsical and enchanting – hence the florals and warm colour scheme. One of our favorite elements were our personalized food stations at the end of the night. Popeyes Chicken for him and Tiny Toms for her! Which really brought out our fun side.

SHE SAID

The most memorable moment for me was during the ceremony, there was a moment during our vows when I looked around – first, at my husband and then all his groomsmen and they we’re tearing up! It was super sweet to see and heartwarming to know that I was joining such a loving and compassionate family.

HE SAID

The most memorable moment for me would be our entrance dance. Although we practiced for weeks and weeks. I made the slightest mistake but it all worked out impeccably.

TIPS & ADVICE

During the planning stages communication and compromise are really helpful throughout the planning process. Remember you are a team working together for one common goal! On the day of keep in mind that everything may not work out exactly has you have planned but keep an open mind, roll with the punches (if any) and savor every moment because it all happens so fast!
